However, petty arguments can also snowball into decades-long bouts of no-contact.

In our story today, A woman and her aunt have a tense relationship. A decade ago, our protagonist was involved in some drama that resulted in the breakup between her cousin and her best friend at the time. Her cousin's mother blamed our protagonist for the teenage spat, and the pair continued their animosity towards each other until the present day.
